EfM classes have begun.

Have you ever wondered what Education for Ministry is? Have you ever thought about embarking on the Education for Ministry journey? Are you ready to begin the journey or continue the journey?

If your answer to any of these questions is yes then please consider joining EfM.

EfM is not limited to St. Michael's parishioners, nor is it limited to Episcopalians so feel free to bring a friend.

Change your Life through Education for Ministry (EFM). EFM is for anyone who seeks to engage on a path of discovery about their Christian faith in a serious way. This program is a good place to ask hard questions about God and for a deeper grounding in the Christian faith, all with the support of others in an atmosphere of trust. Each year's class is a unique combination of new and returning students. Through study, prayer, and reflection we move toward a new understanding of the fullness of God's kingdom. The program sponsored by the School of Theology at Sewanee, provides text material for study and discussion of scripture, church history and theology. EFM is a four year curriculum. Each "year" is a nine-month cycle of study and students enroll one cycle at a time. Classes meet weekly (Monday evenings) September through May. Tuition is required but scholarship help is available.

The Fall 2018 class has begin. If you are interested in future classes, please contact Paula Lieberman.
